What clients say

We needed pictures from a story two hours away and had nobody free. The crew arrived, shot what we asked for and sent clean, labelled files back well before our evening bulletin. The producer kept us informed throughout, which made our job much easier.

Carys EllisOutput editor, regional television news
  • Our same-day edits arrive trimmed, captioned and in the format our playout expects. We have spent less time fixing files and more time on the story itself.

Dylan Roberts · Senior producer, news programme
  • The workflow review gave us a short list of changes we could make ourselves. Nothing was vague, and it was written so each editor knew what to do.

Sioned Parry · Deputy editor, television newsroom
  • The camera workshop was practical from the first hour. Our reporters came away with simple habits for framing and lighting that they now use every day.

Emyr Jones · Head of news gathering, regional broadcaster
Working together

What clients tend to mention most

Across the comments we receive, a few themes come up again and again. They reflect the way we try to work, and they help new clients know what to expect.

Clear communication

Clients often say they knew where the crew was and what had been shot. We agree a named desk contact before a job begins and keep that person informed as the story develops. Questions get a direct answer rather than a general reply. If something changes on location, such as access being refused, the producer tells your desk straight away so the plan can be adjusted without delay.

Usable material

Editors tell us the footage and packages arrive in the right format, labelled and ready to use. We ask for your delivery specification at the outset and set up files accordingly. That saves your team from converting or renaming material when the clock is running. Captioning and trimming are done to the style you give us, not our own preferences.

Plain recommendations

Feedback on the workflow reviews usually praises their clarity. Iwan writes short, specific recommendations and explains why each one matters. Editors can see which changes are quick and which need discussion with colleagues. We do not promise results, but clients tell us the document gives them a sensible starting point and a shared language for talking about how stories move through the newsroom.
