The people

The team behind the camera and the edit

glamorixa

Four people share the work at glamorixa, from planning and shooting to editing and workflow advice. Here is who does what.

Team

Who you will work with

Our team is small by design, so the person you speak to at the start is usually the person doing the work. Each member has a clear area of responsibility.

How we work

A small team with clear responsibilities

Being small means decisions are quick and nothing gets lost between departments. It also means we are careful about what we accept, so the people named on a job are the people who do it.

Planning and contact

Rhian leads production planning and is usually your first point of contact. She reads each enquiry, decides who on the team should take it and writes the quotation. If a job needs a crew on location, she sets the plan and the lines of communication with your desk. She also stays involved while the work is running, so you are never left wondering who is dealing with your request.

On location and in the edit

Gareth shoots breaking stories and keeps an eye on safety and access on the ground. Megan edits the daily packages and manages delivery formats, so your channel receives files it can play out. The two work closely, agreeing shot lists and file naming before a job starts. That habit saves editors from sorting through unlabelled clips late in the day.

Advice and training

Iwan reviews newsroom workflows and writes recommendations in plain language. Gareth also runs the camera technique workshops, drawing on what he sees while shooting. Both keep their advice practical: they suggest changes a team can make with the people and equipment it already has, and they explain the reasoning so editors can judge for themselves.

A small news video production company in Bangor. We shoot and edit breaking-news packages, train camera crews and review newsroom workflows for television broadcasters.
