What happens to the data that reaches us through this website, and what you can ask of us.

On this page glamorixa explains which information reaches us when you open glamorixa.net or write to us, what we do with it, how long it stays with us and whom you can ask about it.

Who is responsible

This website is run by glamorixa, 14 Garth Road, Bangor LL57 2RT, United Kingdom, which decides how the data described on this page is used. Questions about it can be sent to hello@glamorixa.net or asked by telephone on 01248 370142; they concern every page under glamorixa.net and the messages that reach us through it.

Data we collect

Every page request is recorded on the server together with the address of the requesting device, the time, the file opened and the browser used. This information is needed to deliver the page and to detect faults or misuse.

When you send us a message, we keep what you give us, such as your name, the address for our reply, a telephone number if you add one and the text itself, for as long as the matter you wrote about is being dealt with.

Why we process data

The information described here serves a limited set of purposes: running glamorixa.net without faults, answering your questions, preparing offers or agreements and meeting the duties that come with running a business.

Each use of data has a ground of its own: your consent, a contract or the talks that lead to it, an obligation we have to meet, or our legitimate interest in running this site securely. You are free not to give us details, but without them an answer may not be possible.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website keeps stored entries to a minimum. It does not use advertising cookies, it does not follow visitors across other sites, and an answer you give to a cookie notice stays in your own browser.

You can see which entries this website has stored, delete them and refuse new ones at any time in the settings of your browser. Blocking storage that the pages need may mean that parts of the site no longer work.

Sharing of data

We do not trade in personal data. It reaches only the companies that keep this site online and handle our email on our behalf, bound by contract to our instructions, and the authorities that are entitled to request it.

Data may be handled by a provider whose servers or support staff are located abroad. We choose providers who commit to protecting it at the level the applicable rules demand for transfers of this kind.

Retention

Data is stored for the period the purpose requires. Once the purpose no longer applies and no legal duty stands in the way, we delete the data or keep it in a form that no longer identifies anyone.

Technical log entries are deleted automatically after a short time. Enquiries and the correspondence that follows are kept while they may still be needed, and documents covered by tax or commercial law for the statutory period.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

To use these rights, send a request to hello@glamorixa.net or to our postal address. We may ask for details that allow us to identify you, so that data does not reach the wrong person, and we answer within the period the law provides.

If you believe that we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), in addition to any other remedy.
